Liverpool will be bidding to build on their nine-goal victory over Bournemouth when they continue their Premier League campaign at home to Newcastle United on Wednesday night.

The Reds recorded their first three points of the new season in style against the Cherries at the weekend, while Newcastle will enter this contest off the back of a 1-1 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford led to a lot of questions surrounding the club's ability to challenge for the Premier League title this season, but they responded in spectacular fashion on Saturday, recording a 9-0 victory over Scott Parker's Bournemouth side at Anfield.
